Siliguri to Siliguri

Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1: Siliguri to Gangtok

    • Pick-up from NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport and drive to Gangtok.
    • Orientation walk of MG Marg in the evening.
    • Overnight in Gangtok.

  • Day 2: Gangtok sightseeing

    • After a leisurely breakfast, visit to Rumtek Monastery, the largest monastery in Sikkim.
    • Visit Tashi view point to get a panoramic view of the Kanchendzonga mountain range. Kanchendzonga is the third highest mountain in the world.
    • Visit Ganesh Tok, an important Hindu temple from which you get great view of Gangtok town below.
    • Later, visit Enchey Monastery, Do Drul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology and the flower show.
    • Spend the evening at leisure.
    • Overnight in Gangtok.

  • Day 3: Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake to Gangtok

    • Start early and leave for a full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir.
    • Tsomgo lake is a sacred high altitude lake and is a popular attraction for travellers.
    • Baba Mandir is a memorial of a fallen soldier and is revered among the defence personals.
    • Drive back to Gangtok. Overnight in Gangtok.

  • Day 4: Gangtok to Pelling

    • Drive from Gangtok to Pelling
    • Spend the evening at leisure.
    • Overnight in Pelling.

  • Day 5: Pelling sightseeing

    • Start the morning by a visit to Pemagyatse Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim.
    • Later, visit the Rabdentse Ruins, followed by a visit to the sacred Khecheoparli Lake.
    • Enjoy nature as you visit Kanchendzonga waterfalls, Rimbi waterfalls and then soak in the views from the Helipad.
    • Evening at leisure. Overnight in Pelling.

  • Day 6: Pelling to Siliguri

    • Morning departure transfer to Bagdogra airport or NJP station for your onward connection.
    • End of service.
